Hanging & Care Instructions

Hanging Instructions for Framed Images

Select the area on your wall where you would like the top of your frame and the left side of the frame to be placed.  Measure down and to the right the distance from the top and side of the frame to the arrow on the Wall Buddie hanger (about 2-4 inches).   Mark your spot with a pencil.   Place the first hook against the wall at the mark and hammer the nail through hole the on the wall hook.   The Wall Buddies hangers on your picture have arrows indented in them.   Measure between the two arrows.  Mark that measurement on your wall from the left of the first hook you hammered and the same distance from the floor.   Place the second hook against the wall and hammer the nail through the holes at a downward angle.  Hold the picture higher than the hooks on the wall and slowly slide the picture down.  It will rest on the nail that is between the slot of the on both sides of the hangers.  You can slide the picture left or right to get it level.

Care of Fine Art PFR

We recommend that you to handle the image with the greatest care so that it can last for generations.

Although a protective varnish has been applied, it is advisable to not touch the surface of the paper with bare hands, please wear cotton gloves. The receptive surface is absorbent and can pick up grease stains. Gently wipe the surface with a clean cotton cloth if it becomes dusty.

Your art is designed to last for generations.   Try to avoid hanging the image in direct sun light, extreme temperatures or humidity levels. This can decrease the lightfastness of your image and also cause harm to the frame.

Hanging Metal Images

Be careful not to twist the frame when removing the print from the box or crate. After cutting the plastic strapping bands, lift one side straight up and rest the print gently along the other edge, carefully removing any foam packing strips. Please be careful not to drop or bump edges or corners as this can dent the face, edges or corners.

Be sure that your wall hooks are of appropriate strength for the frame so the print does not fall. You may want to install wall anchors or other secure hanging devices.

Care of Metal Prints

Metal Prints can be cleaned using a soft cotton cloth (avoid scratchy paper towels). If necessary, you can use water or window cleaner (like Windex) to remove fingerprints or dust.
